2 Ingredient Fudge...No Joke!

This fudge is so easy, I almost didn't make a post of it, but it's so good I had to share.  The same reader that sent me the 3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies also sent me this 2 Ingredient Fudge recipe.  For those of you who thought that they could not make fudge, you now can.  Once again, I was skeptical that this was really good, but once was.  I need to quit second guessing

This is all there is to this:

1  16oz. container vanilla frosting
1 18 oz. jar of good creamy peanut butter (like Jiff)

Place the vanilla frosting in the microwave and microwave on high for 60 seconds.  Be sure to remove the foil on the top.   When it has completely melted, remove and stir into the peanut butter.  Blend together well and pour into a 9"x9" pan that has been lined with buttered wax paper or nonstick foil.  Refrigerate until firm, then remove from pan and peel off foil or paper.  Cut in 1 inch squares. This is really creamy and rich fudge and no on will know it was this easy. You can pretend you stood over the boiling pan with the candy  thermometer half of the afternoon.    I did sprinkle 1 cup of chopped peanuts on top of mine for a better looking presentation.

2 Ingredient Fudge!

  1. gotta try this beaut thanks

  2. I LOVE peanut butter fudge but it doesn't always turn out moist. Sometimes dry. SO, I'm trying this!!! Especially since I can't have chocolate unless its white chocolate and most people make chocolate fudge instead of peanut butter. THANK YOU!!!!

  3. could you use chocolate icing instead of vanilla probaly be just as good dont ya think

  4. i wonder how this would do with chocolate frosting.

  5. Do you think chocolate frosting would work just as well for chocolate/peanut butter fudge? Wow, I gotta try this and the Ruby's Opera Fudge. I'm excited! Thanks. Gloria H

  6. I'm guessing that you could possibly even do this with Nutella instead of peanut butter... ???

  7. I'm guessing that you could possibly even do this with Nutella instead of peanut butter... ???

  8. Several readers said they do use chocolate instead of vanilla frosting it works great. Also, someone said they did use Nutella for the peanut butter and it also worked.

  9. You can do the same thing with chocolate chips and frosting! ( any flavor of chips actually), heat chips first in microwave for 1 minute. Add frosting and heat for one minute. Add nuts if desired and pour into a buttered pan. Cool and enjoy!

  10. Going to try this recipe.. sounds good.. might drizzle chocolate over it!!!!!

    1. it is super and I thought had to be hard and take time to be good,

  11. Going to try this recipe.. sounds good.. might drizzle chocolate over it!!!!!

  12. I did not believe I made it. As with all your recipes, perfect fudge, quick and easy as you said. Did I say very tasty, too? Thanks for an oldster that always thought the hard way was best. No I have two of your easiest ones that no one need to know they were soooo easy but me......

  13. I made this today. So easy and very nasty, even though I don't care for peanut butter. Giving it all away for Christmas gifts. I am going to try it with the Nutella and chocolate chips too.

  14. I have done thi for years thanks to my Grandmother and the Homemakers in Georgetown, Ky! It turns out great and everyone is amazed at how easy it is. Just use a less oily peanut butter or it takes longer to set.

  15. Sugar-free frosting and Low Sodium Jif Peanut Butter would make it High Blood Pressure and/or Diabetic friendly. I will try this soon!

  16. I've made this for years, and always received raves for it. My Brother-in-Law spends hours making fudge for Christmas every year, and says mine taste better. He asks for the recipe, but I've never told him. I just let Bro think I spend as much time making my fudge as he does making his. lol

  17. I hope you don't mind me sharing these,I just thought maybe you and some other people might like them also.

  18. I made this and everyone loved it. I didn't have vanilla icing so used cream cheese icing and it turned out great! thanks!

  19. Just made it...very good. My husband is a diabetic so I used sugar free frosting!

  20. Used to make this often. I made it once and added in oats and used it as a fast base for no bake cookies :)

  21. I used chocolate icing and crunchy peanut butter..turned out great..

  22. Every recipe on here i tried are awsome....i have to srart all over for recipes cuz i lost mine in water damage.......i want to thank you for yummy recipes

  23. I added pecans and it was great !!!

  24. This recipe works great, but I do it the way my cousin told me. Put contents of one 18-ounce jar in a microwave-safe bowl, and also add the complete contents of one tub of vanilla frosting. Do not mix them together. Microwave for 1 minute then remove and mix, then pour into greased baking dish. I have even tried it using chocolate frosting in place of the vanilla frosting. It isn't too bad.
