She said they said it reminded them of some little pineapple pies they used to get when they were kids.... mini pies like the little pecan pies now... she said the only difference in those & this recipe, was that the old recipe had just a tiny amount of coconut flavor... so she might add a tiny amount f toasted coconut, finely chopped into he batter...or a tiny bit of coconut flavoring...not much!
